About the Physician Ambassador Program
We recruit and place fully licensed physicians and clinicians in a health care team at a VA medical facility to serve Veteran patients in various clinical areas. The Physician Ambassador Program is a without compensation program that provides civilian physicians and clinicians an opportunity to give back to the Veteran community by serving in a volunteer role to deliver health care services to Veterans.
Created by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Physician Ambassador Program enhances health care services for Veterans and their families across the country.
